It is beautiful in Washington now. It still rains most days but the flowering trees is one of my favorite things. The colors are just as pretty as fall colors, only in pastels. These trees are cherry blossom trees and a magnolias. Enjoy the spring time!

Dragging ourselves through
Hello everyone. This is the first week of Gary's new quarter. It's starting out to be a very difficult quarter for both of us. Being newlyweds, you want to spend that first few years really being with each other. And we do spend time with each other........when we're so tired at night in bed, or on weekends taking Clementine to the dog park on study breaks. We miss each other immensely. But we're keeping our heads way above water. Thanks to good friends and wonderful family. We get to look forward to our year ahead. Going to Ireland with my dad, Gary's parents' quite possibly coming up for our first Thanksgiving at OUR house, and going home for Christmas to spend some much needed time with my mom, Dave, my brother and the ever so fast growing Hunter and Bri. That's what keeps us going.
Gary started working in the clinic, and please if I get this wrong, he'll correct me. But he is assessing an adult and a child. He told me he saw a lady that went to classes when she was young on how to be a lady. She's pretty old and still drives herself around. :-) But he is actually doing all the work under a supervisor, so you can imagine the paperwork, and preparation for these clients. I haven't even heard about his classes yet, and we're in the second week. I've just heard about these assessments. So he'll be a busy bee until June 13th.
We will be together for Easter this year at home. The first year Gary was climbing in City of Rocks, Idaho. He got back on Easter day and came over for dinner......but we were still newly dating. The next year we were climbing in Canyonlands, Utah. I remember having 80 degree weather one day and waking up to snow the next day from our tent. It really was a good Easter though. Then last week, I think we were at Dan and Cynthia's. The kids ran around high on sugar. We're doing it ourselves this year. Time to start our own traditions. I bought some prime rib and cheeses and potatoes. We'll go to church in the morning, then have the rest of the time to ourselves......sans books. It'll be nice.
I hope everyone has a wonderful Easter. We wish we were closer. Hunter and Bri I hope that big ol' Easter bunny brings you lots of candy. Eat some Peeps for me!!!
I'll be posting some pictures sometime early next week. The trees are blooming and the magnolias are beautiful. Spring is coming!!!!
