Daxon Gary

We are so blessed to have this little man in our life.  He keeps us so busy!  If our parents loved Gary and I even a fraction of how we love our little man, we were lucky!  We were just talking about this this morning.  Daxon is starting to want to walk....we're hoping by his first birthday.  He likes to pull himself up onto a couch or ledge, turn around and fall.  :-)  One of these days he'll  take that step.
We spent Thanksgiving in Arizona, and we're spending Christmas there as well.  We are very excited to have family with us this year.  And Santa is visiting!  :-)
Enjoy some picutres and we'll try to put some videos up too!

I haven't written for awhile. So I'll fill you in. Daxon is almost 5 months now. He is starting to eat rice cereal and we'll start vegetables here in a week or so. Developmentally he's rolling to one side. He hasn't quite mastered the rolling over because his arm keeps getting in the way. Silly arm! He's full of smiles and giggles. Look at those lips.....he's found them and his tongue, so he spends most of his day with his hand in his mouth grabbing at it. We're doing great as a family. Everyone has adjusted finally and we're getting some sleep. We love our little guy and can't wait to bring him back to Nebraska for a visit.

Mr. Daxon

Hi family. Mommy here.....with free hands. I haven't figured how to type a long story with one hand. Our family is doing well. Daxon is sleeping much better than he was in his first few weeks of life. I'd say we're getting on average 5-6 hours at night in a row. Then it's up every 2 hours. I just can't seem to get that boy to eat enough to sustain him through the rest of the night. Gary weighed him, and he's about 14.6 pounds. Such a big little fellow. I have to make sure I have a good stance before picking him up. But my arms are getting strong. :-) Here are some of the things Daxon is learning how to do:

He says:
I can smile.

I can swat at things

I am making some sort of laughing noise, although it sounds like I'm inhaling air.

I can fart and sneeze all in one gesture, boy mommy's in for it when I'm older. :-)

And I know my mom and dad....they are the coolest people on this earth. I smile when I see them and stop crying when they pick me up.

So that is the Hershey household in a nutshell. We love our new life. And we love our sweet baby Daxon.

I'm growing!!!

Dad likes it when I'm sitting up on the couch.
